Life of a "Blogger"

Hola amigos!
My journey as a blogger has led me here today! I am now a blogger of Blogger (what?). My fascinating life as a blogger began at a vast sea of blue called Tumblr. Then I quickly scurried over to Wordpress so that I could publish my long, long posts. But after discovering that the blogs I follow are mostly published on Blogger, I've decided to make the move! Ah, what is life but temporary...

Anyhoo- I don't even know where to begin. I have been nesting comfortably at home for the past month, and each day seemed to write a novel of its own. My month of August was filled with a bridal shower and wedding planning, helping my parents at the store, and embracing my time at home. September came sooner than I thought, and I was able to kick it off with another bridal shower and more wedding planning! People are tying the knot left and right! My time at home was definitely a blessing, and now that I'm all moved into my new apartment in Irvine, I feel a little bit homesick ): But life goes on, woopdidoo~

I made a mental promise that my next few posts would explode with pictures, but I realize I've Instagram-ed most of my pictures. And I don't feel like being repetitive. But here are a few moments I had in the past month or so...

August 27th marked the one year anniversary of my relationship with Kevin. We celebrated the day reminding each other of the grace of God and His faithfulness, accompanied with a scrumptious dinner at Woodranch and a sweet walk around the Grove in LA...
It was soo pretty...

We were both so full. The food is delicious!!

(:

It was Tammy's bridal shower the first weekend of September, and it was so cute and funny!

The shower was well done by the wonderful bridal party!

Doesn't Tammy's smile make you smile? I love candid pictures (:

The week after Tammy's bridal shower was wedding week for my best friend from high school, Brittany. It was D-6 days, and I spent my labor day laboring with the bride-to-be and another bridesmaid making favors. Did you know that it's tradition to make your own favors?! Well, as tradition goes, we made our very own favors: a box full of Jordan Almonds and a personal note inspired by the Best Man (and Pinterest)!
All boxes and box-tops were hand-made...

It ties a knot when you open the note (:

Ta-da!
When I wasn't at home and at the cleaners, I was at home reading, watching TV, trying to be crafty, recovering from a cold, or playing with this little guy.
"I don't usually pee indoors. But when I do, it's in Jane's room."

Tucking him in at night. LOLOL
Being at home opened my eyes to so many things I wasn't aware of when I was away in school. God has been so faithful in countless ways, as you can see from the few pictures above. When everything around us is caught in a whirlwind and we are thrown into chaos, it is God we see clearly, and in Him we are able to grasp onto. May I continue to look to you at the finish line as my chief motivation and prize while I run this race.

Happy Monday everyone (:
