Kakao: My e-Train Home

Earlier this year, my uncle in Korea told my parents to get Kakao Talk. It's a chatting + calling app that is completely free. I was hesitant in getting the app, because I didn't want my phone to slow down. But a few weeks later, I caved in. It has helped me talk to friends who are limited on their texts, and friends who text via other wi-fi texting apps. But the most exciting part of having Kakao Talk is being able to talk to my cousins in Korea. Yes, Kakao extends beyond the land of the free- you can talk to anyone anywhere in this world!!
So I've tried to capture a few moments of fun on my phone. My phone actually broke down just this weekend so I had to take an alternative route to capture the screen.

As you can see, Kakao has been fun not only because of its hilarious emoticons that can be absolutely spot on at times, but also because of its ability to connect old friends and family together. I lahv it! Ya'll should get it if you don't have it. And then talk to me! It's gon be fun (:
It's been slightly overwhelming to be back in Irvine after being home for half of summer break. Everyone is back and a new batch of freshmen are in! The excitement is definitely present in everyone's hearts, but a sense of nervousness and uneasiness settles in the corner behind all the anticipation. New friends, familiar faces, and expecting the unexpected things... it's all kind of crazy but I can't wait for my last year of college to begin. It's bittersweet, but I know that God has great plans for me and will continue guiding me regardless of time and place.
